Alex Consani Takes Jewelry Inspo From Her Mom—and Harry Styles
The top model talks childhood charms, her big Leo energy, and her burgeoning acting career.

“I think stones hold a lot of energy,” model Alex Consani says on a phone call from New York City. She’s talking about gemstones, the kind she used to find while rummaging around her mother’s jewelry collection growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area. “If I asked her, ‘Where did you get this?’ and she’s like, ‘An ex-boyfriend that I don’t fuck with anymore,’ I’m like, ‘Let me put that right back, girl. I know it’s not going to make my day better. I like to wear things that make me feel good.’”
It’s safe to say Consani—who’s walked for all the major fashion houses including Dior, Chanel, McQueen, Prada, and many more—has found a trove of baubles to fill her with joy. She is one of the faces of the new Pandora Talisman jewelry collection campaign. The rings, necklaces, and bracelets in the lineup feature zodiac-inspired motifs, with silver pendants bearing star signs and a 14-karat gold-plated chain that resembles the cosmos itself. “For my birthday this year, Pandora sent me one of the Talisman Leo necklaces with my name on it—but they sent me eight of them for all of my best friends,” Consani added. “As a kid, I always appreciated having friendship bracelets, or the little magnetic heart necklaces. I can look at them and be like, ‘I know that’s my bitch because we got on the same necklace.’”
What’s your first memory of Pandora?
Going into the store with my aunt and my grandma and just being gagged. I mean, I would call Pandora on the more accessible side—you can get it at the mall, and that’s where I got my first piece. I remember being able to customize it. The first charm I got was a little London bus with the British flag on it because I was so obsessed with Harry Styles. Ever since then, I would go back and add to it.
Was it a charm bracelet?
No, I knew this Australian girl who I thought was really cool—I’m from California, where there aren’t a lot of Australian girls that come around. She had one of the braided leather Pandora bracelets. I was like, “Oh, this is some Australian shit. Okay, girl.” She was like, “No, it’s from Pandora.” So I got one.

What was it like shooting the Talisman campaign with Jill Kortleve and Mahi Kabra?
We were all together shooting it in person, just having fun and chatting the whole time. There aren’t that many opportunities to be yourself on set, especially when it’s a campaign like this. But it was—I don’t want to say relaxing, but it was as chill as it could go, and it was incredible to have the girls with me.
What’s your personal taste in jewelry?
Recently, I’ve been into Art Deco and Art Nouveau jewelry, but I’m not there yet financially. When I wear jewelry, it’s usually simple—I have a limited amount, and I appreciate what each one means to me.
Who inspired that taste?
My mother obviously inspires me. She has a lot of earrings—she has this earring rack I made as a kid. You take a skewer, the things that you make s’mores with, and you hot-glue a piece of felt on it and hang it on the wall. And you can put earrings on it. Now, I have one on my wall at home.
Are you a big fan of family heirloom jewelry? Did you get passed-down pieces?
A little bit. But I’m not royalty, so I would love to say I got diamonds and stuff, but definitely not. I did get some beautiful silver jewelry from my mom, and some stuff from my grandma. People see heirlooms as something that’s given posthumously. But most of the jewelry I’ve gotten has been given to me—or taken from my mother—in my teenage years. Stolen from the jewelry box. She always knew about it, though. She’d be like, “Okay, so my earrings are gone, where are they at?”
This collection is inspired by the zodiac, and you’re a Leo on the cusp of Pisces. With which astrological sign do you identify most?
Definitely big Leo in the building. I’m the first day of Leo, so someone gotta start it with a bang. But a lot of different signs resonate with me. Right now, I feel like a Virgo. Yesterday, I felt like a Cancer. I can feel aspects of my astrology coming out during certain phases of the moon.
What are your plans for fashion month? Can you tell us which spring 2027 runways you’ll be walking?
My plans are quite up in the air because I’m blessed to have the opportunity to be working in film a lot more. I just finished my second project that I’ve been working on for four months, shooting American Horror Story, which was such an incredible honor. Of course, I love fashion. At the same time, it’s nice to explore what entertainment means for me outside of that. I’m motivated to do more projects in film. So that’s going to change a bit of what I do “schedulely.”
