Miranda Priestly, Emily Charlton, and Andy Sachs are back—and this time, the details very much interest us. Nearly twenty years after The Devil Wears Prada debuted in 2006, the cult-classic film is getting a sequel. With filming officially underway, Anne Hathaway (Sachs), Meryl Streep (Priestly), and Emily Blunt (Charlton) have been spotted out and about in Manhattan, giving us a sneak peek at the movie’s wardrobe in the process.

Production for the long-awaited sequel began in July 2025, and it didn’t take long for “Andy Sachs 2.0” to take shape, as Hathaway was seen on set around New York City in a wardrobe fit for a digital media titan. So far, she’s traded Andy’s famous Chanel boots (of “Are you wearing the...?” fame) for casual Chanel sandals with an open front (archival runway, albeit) and is channeling her inner “Office Siren” in a mix of vintage and current season designer pieces. It accessories are plenty in the actor’s looks, from the likes of Valentino and Fendi, as are garment bags branded with “Runway,” the fictional title given to the movie’s luxury magazine. Soon after, Streep and Blunt followed, as did a star-studded cast including DWP OGs like Stanley Tucci and franchise newcomers such as Simone Ashley and Pauline Chalamet.

Here, keep track of all of the fashion worn in The Devil Wears Prada 2.

Emily Charlton (played by Emily Blunt) has a whole new look—and, apparently, a whole new job. On July 29, Blunt arrived on set for the first time, wearing a lingerie-inspired twist on the power suit. Charlton, who is reportedly pitted against her former boss, Miranda Priestly, in the sequel, capped off her look with Dior’s brand new D-Journey bag.

This time around, it looks as though Sachs is better versed in fashion industry happenings—cargo-inspired bottoms were all over the summer 2025 runways. Sachs’s are from Sacai.

Are you wearing the ... Paris Texas boots? With Gabriela Hearst’s burgundy vest?

With Nigel (Stanley Tucci) by her side, Priestly looked in charge while filming a scene on July 28.

Priestly is no stranger to the “Unexpected Red Theory.” Here, she dabbled in the look with a pair of Jacquemus’s scarlet Cubisto sling backs that popped against her Briony Raymond jewels and sleek power coat by Sasuphi.

The shoes? Prada, but of course! The top? A very IYKYK Phoebe Philo t-shirt with an unexpected train.

Leaning into the Boho renaissance, Sachs was seen wearing Valentino Garavani’s celebrity-favorite Nellcôte bag on July 25. She paired the suede and fringed piece with cuffed denim, snake print boots, and a paisley print scarf.

Joining Streep on day two of filming was Bridgerton star Simone Ashley, who arrived to set in a UFO-print tapestry dress by Monse layered over top of a crisp white button-down. Ashley’s role in the sequel is unknown, but the pairing suggests her character knows a thing or two about the “Office Siren” aesthetic.

Pauline Chalamet, the older sister of Timothée and an actor in her own right, brought one of fashion’s most divisive shoes to The Devil Wears Prada 2 in the form of Maison Margiela’s Tabi boots. Things are getting freaky!

For the less alternative crowd, Chalamet was later seen wearing Reformation’s Carla low-waist skirt and a banana yellow tank top.

She’s here! On July 23, Miranda Priestly (aka Meryl Streep) arrived on set in peak Editor-in-Chief fashion. Offering a first look at Priestly’s TDWP 2 style, Streep donned bold Jimmy Choo glasses and a chocolate brown skirt. She paired the items with a lavender top, a longline trench coat, and caramel block heels. In her hand, Priestly carried a pink rhinestone water bottle from Collina Strada, one of New York’s most artistic and beloved young labels.

The first look at “Andy Sachs 2025,” as Hathaway put it, came from this relaxed outfit featuring a longline denim skirt from Agolde and a white tank top paired with an open black vest. Heels, once a requirement for women working in fashion, seem to be a relic of the past for the new Andy, as Hathaway preferred to wear this look with Birkenstock-esque sandals from Chanel. There was no purse here, rather a newspaper that Hathaway held onto for dear life.

Those Chanel mules, which debuted in 2022, made a quick re-appearance during day one of filming, this time styled with a patch-laden jumpsuit. On her shoulder, Hathaway cradled an unreleased Valentino Garavani Panthea bag—a fitting choice given her long, personal track record with the Italian label.

Next up for Andy was a vintage Jean Paul Gaultier Femme power look from the 1990s. It consisted of a pinstripe waistcoat and matching trousers and bore a subtle resemblance to a similar striped look Miranda Priestly wore in the original film. Keeping up the vintage theme, Hathaway wore an archival Coach shoulder bag to complete the look.

Andy’s vintage Coach bag made a second appearance in this monochrome look that featured a ruched top paired with an oversized suit coat, high-waisted trousers, and Jemma Wynne’s emerald-cut diamond toggle pendant necklace.

By the looks of it, Andy was catching the Jitney to the Hamptons while wearing this rainbow of a Gabriela Hearst dress in a colorful patchwork pattern. For luggage, she went with a navy suitcase, her “Runway” garment bag, and a plastic mesh tote bag from Fendi. Her Jemma Wynne necklace made another appearance, this time paired with a beaded choker by Marlo Laz.
