Dua Lipa and Callum Turner Embrace the Same Unconventional Styling Trick
Dua Lipa celebrated her 31st birthday over the weekend with a trip to an upstate New York sculpture garden, multiple desserts, and a satisfyingly offbeat styling moment with husband Callum Turner.
On Monday, the star—who was in Ibiza last week for pre-birthday festivities with family—took to Instagram to share a recap of her celebratory weekend in New York. Many of the photos show her and Turner together at Art Omi, a free, 120-acre outdoor space full of contemporary sculptures by over 60 artists and architects (sorry to Storm King). As they meandered about the interactive exhibitions, the pair opted for a transitional styling hack embraced by off-duty models and Olsen twins alike: the shirt as a scarf.
For her part, Lipa wore a white tank with a narrow V-neck, a Vivienne Westwood midi skirt, and an East-West bag from Chanel’s fall 2026 collection. In lieu of her usual chunky necklaces, she accessorized with a bright red knit draped around her neck. Featuring circular cutouts and ribbed ends, the garment was reminiscent of a sweater’s sleeves. Turner opted for a similar look—half-wearing a navy button-up with a white T-shirt and baggy jeans.
In perfect sartorial synchronicity, the couple capped off the day with two birthday cakes—one that read “Happy Birthday Dua” and another that read “Happy Birthday Beba.”
It wasn’t the only couple style moment of the weekend, however. On a romantic evening outing, Lipa dressed things up in an LBD with gauzy, sheer layers and ruffled detailing. Turner once again followed suit, offsetting her all-black look with a white button-up adorned in subtle pinstripes.
The pair—who tied the knot in May—have been showing off their fine-tuned approach to fashion throughout the summer. Together, they’re never overly matchy, but instead effortlessly balanced, whether they’re at a high-profile red carpet or a casual sports game. Fittingly, for Lipa’s birthday weekend, they once again reached an aesthetic equilibrium. Here’s to another year of A+ couple dressing.
