Zendaya and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man Press Tour Looks Are a Lesson in Couples Style
What better way to celebrate one’s recent nuptials than with a press tour? Fine, maybe it doesn’t sound like the most romantic honeymoon, but with the Spider-Man: Brand New Day cast traveling the world to promote the summer blockbuster, Tom Holland and Zendaya could certainly make one out of it. Still, newlyweds or not, the pair appear to be firmly in work mode—especially Zendaya, who has a style-star reputation to uphold. Holland, meanwhile, has the Herculean task of keeping pace without overshadowing his new wife. Not that such a thing would be possible. So far, both have risen to the occasion, stepping out in headline-making looks in their first professional appearances as husband and wife. As they continue their global press run for their fourth Spider-Man film together, we’ll be keeping track of every outfit along the way.
In Mexico, Zendaya stepped out in a gothic dress from Ashi Studio spring/summer 2026 couture with a lace panel covering half her torso and one arm. Unexpected bangs and long fringe that extended from the actor’s sleeve hems and grazed the floor provided some major drama to the overall look.
After a break for The Odyssey press tour, Zendaya is back in Spidey mode. The actor attended a Spider-Man: Brand New Day photocall in New York wearing a look modeled by Sharon Stone on the Vetements menswear runway just last month. The suited ensemble—which features thigh-high leather boots— was a reference to Spider-Man villain Mister Negative, leading many to assume the character will pop up in the upcoming film.
While at first, it seemed like Zendaya wouldn’t be engaging in her usual method dressing for this press tour, she’s been inching closer and closer to her old ways with each subsequent city stop. In London, she attended a red carpet wearing a spring 1997 John Galliano dress from the designer’s “Circus” collection. The printed blue number featured a celestial print and an asymmetric skirt hemmed with ruffles. Gold chains covered in charms hung from the straps, decorating Zendaya’s torso and arms, while an open back allowed for the display of more chain work, this time in the shape of a spiderweb.
"Style doesn't always have to cost a fortune," Law Roach wrote on his Instagram as he shared the eBay receipt for one of Zendaya’s most recent looks. The actor went in a very different style direction than usual and attended a photocall in Paris wearing just an oversized Spider-Man shirt and white heels. From Roach’s post, we know the shirt came from 2007 and cost only $35.
Zendaya wore her most literal look yet at the Rome premiere on June 23. The actor chose an Italian designer for the Italian city, attending the event in a Giorgio Armani spring 1990 dress.
The gorgeous vintage piece featured a nude slip underneath a sheer overlay decorated with spiderweb beadwork. Zendaya completed the look with some glittering Louboutin heels and a flapper-style ‘do, while Holland’s ox blood Balenciaga suit added some color to the couple.
Zendaya is finally mixing things up color-wise (kind of). After a mostly red and black run on the red carpet, the actor stepped out in a blue and red look to promote Spider-Man in Rome. The occasion called for a sparkling two-piece set from Versace’s fall 1997 collection, featuring a square neck crop top and color-blocked skirt. Holland, for his part, wore custom Balenciaga in the form of a navy blue wool set.
The couple returned to the black and red color palette for a fan event in Berlin. Zendaya wore a custom Louis Vuitton leather set with a cropped, vest-style top. Holland was the one who provided the touch of red, opting for a double-breasted Celine suit with a bold shirt and tie.
Holland and Zendaya went slightly more casual for a photocall in Berlin. Holland looked as dapper as ever in a Prada ensemble comprised of jeans and a buttery leather jacket. Zendaya, meanwhile, mixed sportswear and officer wear, stepping out in a vintage-style football shirt and plaid knee-length skirt from Coach fall/winter 2026.
For a special fan event in Amsterdam, Zendaya arrived in a sheer mini dress and another dramatic tailcoat, this time from McQueen’s fall 2026 collection.
Thus far Zendaya seems to have mostly stepped away from the method dressing for which she and her stylist, Law Roach, have become known. There does, however, seem to be a color scheme going on. On their first stop in Madrid, Holland and Zendaya dressed in black and red, a pattern Zendaya continued in Amsterdam. There, she wore a Louis Vuitton resort 2027 look featuring red shorts and a military-style cropped jacket with dramatically long tails and a high neckline. On the front and tail, embellishments added a touch of white, which was also picked up in Zendaya’s favorite Louboutin pumps.
Holland, meanwhile, styled by Crystalle Cox, paired nicely with his wife in a Thom Browne suit, one that read pretty traditional, but boasted some carpenter-like pockets and a cinched back.
Zendaya followed up her LBD with an LRD, a gorgeous red design from Ernesto Naranjo fall 2026.
The husband and wife stepped out for their first formal appearance together since reportedly tying the knot. They attended a photocall in Madrid, for which Zendaya wore a black Christian Cowan dress from the fall 2026 collection. Strapless with a very high slit, the hem of the skirt featured a trim of Flamenco-ready fringe which dramatically swung around her legs while she walked. Holland, meanwhile, matched in an all-black custom Jacquemus look, forgoing a traditional suit jacket for a more modern bomber style.
